Pipette.com Will Be Adding New Pipette Tip Models to Their E-Commerce Portfolio

With a history of excellence and over 20 years of experience in pipette calibration, Pipette.com is the largest independent calibration facility on the West Coast. With a passion for empowering scientific discovery, they are dedicated to providing the best solutions possible for their customers while maintaining effective communication. In doing so, Pipette.com is now a core distributor for new pipette tip manufacturers.

Pipette tips are used with pipettes and pipettors to speed processing and reduce cross-contamination. They are available in a variety of materials and styles. Popular pipette styles used are: Universal pipette tips, Filter pipette tips and Low retention pipette tips. Pipette.com offers a wide variety of first party and third party pipette tips engineered for accuracy and compatible with most laboratory pipettes.

Pipette.com will be adding BrandTech PD-Tip Syringe Tips, which are manufactured in Germany using high-quality virgin plastics, polypropylene, and polystyrene. BrandTech PD-Tip Syringe Tips are made in a clean-room environment without lubricants or chemical additives to prevent reagent contamination. This ensures the integrity of the customers’ solutions is not compromised because of their lab consumables. The BrandTech PD-Tip Syringe Tips are compatible with all repeating pipettes that use standard sizing for syringe tips. BrandTech PD-Tip Syringe Tips are compatible with the following models of repeaters and repeating dispensers; Brand HandyStep models, Rainin AutoRep E and M, Gilson Repetman, Fisher model, VWR model, and most generic models. These high-quality repeater syringe tips are able to fit any mechanical or electric repeater pipette and made with the highest quality plastics.

Pipette.com will now carry Filter Pipette Tips that are at the forefront of pipetting technology, with zero sample carry-over and blocked aerosol contamination. Filtered pipette tips are also referred to as aerosol barrier tips as they are fitted with a filter inside the proximal part of the pipette tip, protecting the pipette from aerosols and aspirating viscous or volatile samples into the shaft. This not only protects the pipette from physical damage that might be caused otherwise, but also protects against cross-contamination between samples. These filtered tips are ideal for PCR, qPCR, and sensitive sample pipetting.

In addition, Pipette.com has developed an Eclipse Reload system that is the only Reload tip system on the market with 95% renewable materials. Pipette.com’s Eclipse Reload Tips are made in the United States and have a compostable tip base made from organic non-petroleum resin. Maintaining an environmentally friendly business is crucial in today’s world. Combining an eco-friendly design with intelligent engineering to make refilling pipette tip racks simple and fast, the Eclipse Reload system should be utilized in every laboratory. These sustainable pipette tip systems allow you to refill existing racks, reducing the amount of individually racked tips you need to buy. Over the long run, this can reduce your lab from disposing of thousands of empty pipette tip containers. With the compact footprint and stacked system, refilling your pipette tip racks is intuitive. This re-closable system can be stored easily in crowded labs and are certified RNase/DNase and Human DNA free.

Lastly, Pipette.com will be adding Eppendorf Combitips. The Eppendorf Combitip system is designed to meet the needs of any and all modern laboratories. Eppendorf Combitips include Combitips advanced® which is a replacement for the Combitips plus®. New additions include a new special ergonomic design, color-coding, and optimized graduation. Eppendorf Combitips® advanced easily attach to the repeater because of the built-in sensor which recognized the size of the Combitip. The volume automatically appears in the display which eliminates time spent making volume calculations.
