Pipette.com Has Added New Pipettes and Transfer Pipettes to Its E-Commerce Platform

With a history of excellence and over 20 years of experience in calibrating pipettes, Pipette.com is the largest independent pipette calibration facility on the West Coast. Pipette.com is also a distributor of several manufacturers of pipettespipette tips and lab equipment. Pipettes are a common laboratory tool used to transport measured volumes of liquid and come in a multitude of channels, displacements and construction materials. Pipette.com will be adding different pipette types to their ecommerce platform.

Pipette.com will be adding multiple brands of Pasteur Pipettes. Pasteur Pipettes, also known as droppers or eye droppers, are laboratory liquid handling tools that are used to transfer small quantities of liquids. Pasteur Pipettes are traditionally made from glass, although nowadays plastic Pasteur Pipettes are commonplace in labs around the world. Pasteur Pipettes are essentially glass or plastic tubes that are tapered to a narrow opening point at the lower end and fitted with a plastic or rubber bulb at the upper end. The combination of a glass Pasteur Pipette and rubber bulb can also be known as a 'teat pipette'.

In addition, Pipette.com will be adding Disposable Transfer Pipettes. Disposable Transfer Pipettes are the Safer Alternative to Pasteur Pipettes. These one-piece, unbreakable low-density polyethylene plastic transfer pipettes are inert to biological fluids and most acids. They are a great alternative to Pasteur pipettes as you no longer have to deal with the hazards of broken glass and finding the correct bulb for your experiment. Since they are disposable, you longer have to worry about cross contamination between samples. They are well-suited for blood banking (2 mL size), urinalysis, hematology, wet chemistry, microbiology, and serology. The low-affinity surface reduces the loss of cells and valuable proteins due to binding.

Lastly, Pipette.com will be adding Multichannel Pipettes - An Essential in Any Modern Laboratory Multichannel Pipettes are the easiest way to increase your output and productivity, while reducing assay, testing and production costs at the same time. By purchasing a multichannel pipette for your laboratory, you can instantly increase pipetting productivity by 8-, 12-, or even 64-fold (depending on whether you prefer an 8-channel,12-channel, or higher channel pipette). This immediately creates more time in the day for a scientist or lab technician. Instead of spending hours transferring samples to plates, you can reduce the task to minutes. Multichannel pipettes can increase the throughput of your lab and free-up valuable lab time to be spent on tasks other than time-consuming and repetitive pipetting.
